Shipwrecked; the latest single from Modeselektor's forthcoming album, Monkeytown, features well suited vocals from Thom Yorke and a very well suited video, directed by Tony T. Datis. Tony explained to NPR that he took inspiration for the video from the sound of Thom's voice. Which, with zombies, dead ravens, dog's and a lonely unsettling child, all set in a variety of eerie woods and deserted, grey run-down city ends, has conveniently been let loose on Halloween weekend. Despite the slightly disturbing character of the video, this song definitely has comforting qualities. Enjoy.
